Two of the following FRQs will appear on your final exam.

1. Examine the relationship between congress and the president and how their decision making is affected by their power
2. The framers of the constitution created a federal system. Know how to define it and way that power by the federal government is increased and how the states are able to increase it's power. (consider things such as the Tenth Amendment and Block Grants
3. Know the following interest groups that represent retired people, medical professional, and legal groups that specialize in representing African Americans. Be able to explain how this group influence their targeted group and describe resources those groups.  


4. Know how interest groups contribute to elections, influence the government to change policy, 
5. Be able to identify trends in voting behaviors, and explain advantages of incumbency,differences in state and national parties, and how different groups such as women, union members and social conservatives may vote .
